AQI Meters

AQI or Air Quality meters let you know the air quality in your house. It will help you evaluate the effectiveness of the air purifiers that you have. Zebsol has two AQI meters, and both of them use laser scattering to measure PM2.5 particle concentrations (PM2.5 is the main pollutant that causes all types of medical problems). Levels of PM2.5 should be below 20 ideally, but even reading around 50-60 is ok for Lahore. Anything above 100 is dangerous and you need an air purifier for that area.

When buying an AQI (air quality indicator) meter whether from us or from anywhere else, make sure that the sensor is laser-based and not IR (infrared-based), IR-based AQI meters are very inaccurate and give false readings. They are cheaper but totally useless. Also, some customers purchased meters that only show CO2 or other gases. These do not indicate air quality/pollution levels but just are useful for gas leakages. They are sold as Air quality meters but are not useful for pollution that causes asthma, and other illnesses.
